OVERVIEW OF BUILD CHANGES FOR U41
There are not a ton of changes coming for builds in Update 41.
With the Scribing PTS right around the corner, it doesn’t really make a lot of sense for me to go through and spend a week updating all the U40 Build pages.
So here is a summary of the important build changes:
All Classes:
traits:
- Charged/Charged front bar is really good for Single Target damage now - Nirn/Charged (ST or AoE) and Nirn/Precise (AoE) still work very well too

- For a Staff/Bow/2H front bar, Charged is very nice there as well, though some setups will still be better w/ Precise.
ENCHANTMENTS:
- Mostly the same, but builds with high Burning uptimes will want to replace the Flame enchantment and builds with high Poisoned uptimes will want to replace the Poison Enchantment - Absorb Stam, Shock, and Disease seem to be the most common replacements being used depending on class and build

- Weapon damage will still be commonly run on the Infused backbar but for pure Single Target some setups may see slightly more damage with a different enchantment - EX: Flame/Poison + Shock on Sorcerer

GEAR:
- Runecarver’s Blaze will be VERY nice on DKs and Necros. And other classes if setup w/ lots of DoTs.
- Siroria got a small buff and will be only little bit behind Coral Riptide (assuming max values for both)
SKILLS:
- Force Pulse synergizes very nicely with the Status Effect increase, especially if using Charged
- Elemental Susceptibilty and Elemental Weapon get a bump up as well and allow for enchantment flexibility
- Barbed Trap is still really good if you need Minor Force and have it on the Front Bar. Otherwise, it is more flexible to remove now
- Dual Wield Ult: Lacerate is more interesting now, but still likely falls behind other options
- Vamp spammable a little more attractive now with guaranteed Hemorrhaging
Class SPECIFIC:
ARCANISTS
- See above
DRAGONKNIGHT
- See above
NECROMANCER
- Swap Stalking Blastbones to Blighted Blastbones to maintain the previous playstyle
- For the New Grave Lord’s Sacrifice morph, move it to your back bar since it is a 20s buff
NIGhtBLADE
- Drop Concealed Weapon unless using it as your main Spammable (more bar space yay)
- Siphoning Attacks is great for Healing + Sustain now for both Mag and Stam setups
SORCERER
- Non-Pet sets are more viable, but still behind Pet options for DPS
- If Minor Force is covered, can drop Barbed Trap for another AoE skill on your back bar - EX: 2 Pets + Stampede + Hurricane + Carve or Lightning Flood
- Barbed Trap is still a must if you need Minor Force and is still good ST damage

TEMPLAR
- Power of the Light is now slightly more damage than Purifying Light w/ the guaranteed Sundered
WARDEN
- See above
