the build basics

top races

  • Bretons and Orcs are very strong too

  • Really any race is fine unless you are trying to min/max every last %

mundus stone

  • The Thief is generally the strongest for PvE

food/drinks

  • Bi-stat Health + Magicka is the best if you can sustain with it

  • Ghastly is great if you don’t mind being a little squishier

  • Clockwork + Witchmother’s are a little less damage but are a nice middle ground of health/sustain/damage

potions

  • The Essence of Spell Power Potions are highly recommended for Veteran content

  • If you are running trash potions instead, make sure to have Degeneration (or a support casting Igneous Weapons) for Major Sorcery and Inner Light for Major Prophecy

champion points

  • Fighting Finesse > Backstabber if you can’t flank

  • Thaumaturge > Backstabber or Fighting Finesse if you are over the crit dmg cap

  • Thaumaturge > Deadly Aim for AoE heavy damage encounters

  • See video guide for further situational explanations

skills

gear

notes

  • The Harpooner’s Wading Kilt with a 1pc Slimecraw will generally be a slight DPS improvement over a Monster Set when the fight allows for it

  • Deadly Strike over Kinras’s Wrath whenever building and maintaining stacks for Kinras’s is difficult or the fight is over too quickly

  • Burning Spellweave moves up to low Tier 1 if using the static 12s rotation

  • Advancing Yokeda is strong if you can keep it up but could be difficult as only your melee light attacks will build/maintain the stacks

  • Light Armor pieces will be stronger where slottable if under the penetration cap, otherwise Medium Armor pieces are stronger

LOTS of AoE Options coming up here. You don’t need to have all of these configurations

Take a look at see what might work best for your situation

  • For short burst scenarios using a Monster set

  • Inferno staff if using Pulsar as your spammable / Lightning or Swords if using Blazing Spear as your spammable

  • Light Armor pieces will be stronger where slottable if under the penetration cap, otherwise Medium Armor pieces are stronger

  • For best results, try and dump some magicka before the pull begins since we have Bahsei in this setup

  • For short burst scenarios using a Mythic

  • Inferno staff if using Pulsar as your spammable / Lightning or Swords if using Blazing Spear as your spammable

  • Light Armor pieces will be stronger where slottable if under the penetration cap, otherwise Medium Armor pieces are stronger
