CLASS MASTERIES

YOU CAN ACTIVATE 2 OF THESE AT A TIME

Arcanist Class Mastery Abyssal Emergence

#1 option for Arcanist DPS setups

Excellent option for burst and the go-to option when running Spattering Disjunction

Excellent option to spend more time beaming for setups NOT using Spattering Disjunction

Excellent group support or solo option. Reaving Blows may be enough to keep up for some AoE encounters but you’ll likely need an additional heal or Pale Order for Single Target fights as a Damage Dealer

Mostly for Tank for group support

CLASS SETS

The Class set from Infinite Archive, Spattering Disjunction, got some really nice buffs!

Not only did they add 40% more damage with Status Effects, but the more significant change is the Crux generation. Wearing this feels very similar to the old Class Mastery on the Banner where you got a free Crux every 5 seconds. This free Crux means more time spent beaming, which means a lot of extra damage!

This seems to be a bit better than the previous top contenders like Deadly Strike and Tide-Born. I do have a parse with Deadly Strike in the Huntsman section below as well.

NOTES AND COMMENTS

Keep in mind that with the large number of tests, I did not spend a bunch of time crit farming. Some got lucky, others didn’t. You can check the crit % on the Combat Metrics reports compared to average hits.

All tests have a passive Fighters guild ability slotted on the back bar as a Flex spot. This can be replaced with whatever you need for the content you are working on.

There were no pre-buffs done on any of these except to get Crux built up when not using the Abyssal Emergence mastery.

NOTES ON SCRIBING SKILL SCRIPTS

Banner Bearer

  • Shocking / Magical / Shattering Focus (depends on specific loadout, all very close regardless)

  • Class Flourish Signature / Cavalier’s Charge (The extra Ult gain can be nice to trigger Ultimates reliably during off-balance windows, otherwise take Cavalier’s)

  • Affix is your choice based on needs (Prophecy/Savagery is top priority if not present)

If someone else in your group is already running Banner Bearer, it’s usually best to drop it. Can easily replace with Camo Hunter front bar and either Camo Hunter or another flex skill on the back bar.
